If you are an employee of a foreign company: Employment certification, indicating your role, your compensation and that your work is performed remotely.

If you own a company abroad or you are a co-owner: Certificate of incorporation and certificate of good standing from your company.

If you are an independent contractor or freelance: Letter from your clients stating the type of work you perform, the salary or fees you receive and that the service is performed remotely.
2. Health insurance policy: This policy must provides coverage in Colombia for risks including: accident, illness, maternity, disability, hospitalization, death, and repatriation, with at least one (1) year of validity.
3. Personal bank staments: Bank statements from the three months prior to the visa application, which must prove that you earn at least three
Colombian minimum wages per month (around $1.050 USD* for 2025).
4. Criminal Record Certificate: The criminal record certificate must be issued by the applicant's country of residence or the last country where they have lived for the past 3 years. This document must have the corresponding apostille to ensure its international validity and it must be translated into Spanish by a Colombian official translator.
