1. Visa application letter stating the source of income for the applicant;s rent (the income from rents must not be less than ten (10) current legal monthly minimum wages-around 4,378 USD for the year 2026)
2. Criminal or police record certificate issued by the authority of the country where the applicant has lived for the last three (3) years. This document must be apostilled for Colombia and officially translated into Spanish. If you are from the United States, you may use either a State-level background check or an FBI background check.
3. Certification from a public entity or recognized private company, detailing the income paid or transferred in the applicant's name, or proof of ownership of assets in Colombia that generate rental income.
4. Health insurance policy that provides coverage in Colombia for risks
including: accident, illness, maternity, disability, hospitalization, death, and repatriation, with at least one (1) year of validity.
